Many people helped bring the Catawba Pickleball Club to life.

First and foremost, Bill G. started collecting email addresses at the Indian Land YMCA the Summer of 2022 and began sharing tips, videos, and ideas discussed while playing at the YCMA. When preparing to move away from Charlotte, he passed the reigns and contact info to Mike Drum to continue the service. If it wasn't for Bill's passion for helping others and bringing people together, this club would not exist.

Pickleball has really struck a chord with millions of people around the US. The combination of easy to play and hard to master, along with the ability to have fun and competitive games with people of all all ages and experience, has made pickleball an excellent way to stay active and get to know people in your community in a way that has been difficult these past few years. Inspired by the impact Pickleball has had on me personally, the mission of the Catawba Pickleball Club is to Support the growth of Pickleball as an opportunity for people of all ages and experience to play, connect, and learn in an inclusive and supportive environment.
